PDA meraupakan kemajuan teknologi yang merupakan penggabungan dari Handphone dan Laptop (Komputer). Jadi segala kelebihan maupun fungsi yang terdapat pada Handphone dan Laptop dapat kita temukan pada PDA, tentunya banyak lagi fitur-fitur pada PDA yang khusus diciptakan untuk mempercanggih alat komunikasi ini. Adapun kegunaannya pada OA, adalah:

1.Untuk memudahkan kegiatan perkantoran tanpa harus menggunakan komputer pada umumnya yang tidak efisien. Dalam hal ini Laptop sangat dibutuhkan karena perangkat ini sangat portable.
